Dr. Plaire hails from Georgia and completed medical school at Emory University.
After his residency at Indiana University, Dr. Plaire went on to a fellowship in Pediatric Urology at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Dr. Plaire has surgical expertise in repair of complex genital anomalies including hypospadias, exstrophy and ambiguous genitalia. He performed the first laparoscopic orchiopexy to repair an undescended testis in the State of Nevada. He is active in clinical research studies and was the principal investigator of two FDA sponsored trials on the use of antibiotics in children with urinary tract infections.
